Today is an exciting day for Elaine and her friends at Homeward Trails and Dog Paws University - the great doggie day care facility that has cared for her since she came from the shelter to Northern Virginia.
Today is the day that Elaine goes home with her new "dad" Chris. YAY!!! We know that Elaine will miss her two and four pawed friends but also know that she's going to love sleeping in her own bed with a human just a few feet away and she'll love getting pets and belly rubs pratically on demand.
Now that Elaine is in a home and can be keep calm during the day, she will start treatment to rid her of heartworm. We still need funds to pay for Elaine's heartworm treatments.
